Alana Maiello is a proactive, driven, and enthusiastic producer, director, interviewer, writer, marketing strategist, and speaker. She is passionate about telling powerful stories for brands and premium entertainment companies.


From directing and producing premium behind-the-scene celebrity interviews for HBO Max, Warner Brothers Discovery, Plastik, Static Films, and Peacock/NBC Universal, to empowering CEOs of technology companies and other brands with digital, marketing, video, and social strategy, to finding compelling untold stories throughout the world, Alana loves to work with dynamic teams to find the best medium for a story.

  • Working as Director and Interviewer for Promo shoot "Apples Never Fall | Annette Bening on the Complexity of A Woman's World." Produced by Static Films for Peacock + NBCUniversal

  • Working as a Supervising Producer, Production Manager, and Interviewer for behind-the-scenes celebrity talent interviews and BTS filming for the following HBO promo content: Westworld, The Idol, The Flight Attendant, Insecure, VEEP, Sharp Objects, Barry, His Dark Materials, The Defiant Ones, The Zen Diaries Of Garry Shandling, Elvis Presley: The Searcher, and The 2019 Golden Globes.

  • Consulting work with top Utah CEOs and their technology and business intelligence companies Grow and Canopy. Directed, produced and wrote commercials and managed marketing strategy for online promotional videos during their fundraising cycle.

  • Working as a Production Coordinator for the feature documentary DOWNFALL directed by Rory Kennedy, distributed by Netflix/Imagine Entertainment.


  • Directing, writing, and producing the short documentary ESFUERZO, about wine entrepreneur Fidencio Flores.


  • Working with social media client Hurlbut Academy (now Filmmaker's Academy), I increased total social followers by 129.4% and group engagement by 472% by creating unique video and photography content, a 6-month content calendar, digital ads, and livestream events with brand sponsors.​

  • Speaking as a keynote speaker at the Utah Office for Victims of Crime to an audience of 250 Utah advocates, police officers, and attorneys; sharing insights around resilience and empowerment.

  • My service mission in Quezon City, Philippines: Learning Tagalog in 6 months stretched me and led me to grow in ways I could have never anticipated. I absolutely love Filipino culture, the caring and welcoming families I met there.
